The mission of BridgeVolunteers is to provide safe, rewarding, and productive service learning and volunteer opportunities which improve the lives of others and provide an enriching experience abroad. We strive to facilitate successful service learning and volunteer experiences by linking local community projects with dedicated volunteers, providing faculty members and group leaders with top-notch support, and creating customized programs designed specifically to suit each group’s needs.
Our Partners

Our partners represent a variety of organizations—local community associations, nonprofit groups, and conservation forces—all of which are experts in their respective regions.

At the same time, we work with all of our partners very closely to ensure that each program meets the high standards of quality that you expect and deserve.
Our Organization
BridgeVolunteers specializes in sending students and volunteers abroad to participate in cultural immersion, language training, and volunteer projects overseas. Our solid academic courses, outstanding facilities, knowledgeable in-country staff, and network of global contacts combine to make our service learning and volunteer programs among the best available.
BridgeVolunteers is part of Bridge-Linguatec, a world leader in language training and educational travel. A pioneer in "immersion" study abroad, in which students immerse themselves in a language and a culture, Bridge-Linguatec has over 25 years of international experience. We are headquartered in Denver, CO USA, with affiliate schools in Argentina, Brazil, and Chile and partner organizations worldwide. Bridge-Linguatec programs now include language travel, volunteer placement, and TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification.
Our Story
Bridge-Linguatec's very first volunteer projects were organized for language students at our schools in Argentina, Brazil, and Chile who wanted to enhance their cultural experience while giving back to the community. In response to this demand, we began placing our students in local youth outreach programs, nature conservation projects, and volunteer English teaching positions in those countries.
The success of our programs in South America inspired the idea for more varied volunteer projects around the world. Today we are proud to offer more than 25 BridgeVolunteers service learning and volunteer programs across the globe, from Argentina to India.
