“[My favorite part of volunteering was] meeting new people and working with the children. It was interesting to see different types of after-school care in another country.”

  Community Outreach Project
Buenos Aires, Argentina

Help Argentina’s residents in need when you volunteer with our Community Outreach Project in Buenos Aires.

Volunteers with our Community Outreach Project will have the opportunity to work hands-on in a wide variety of projects designed to benefit residents in one of Buenos Aires’ most economically depressed neighborhoods.

You will spend your time helping out in community centers, churches, soup kitchens, elderly homes, and in some cases, health workshops, providing basic services like childcare, meal preparation, English lessons, and assistance for the elderly and people with special needs.

As a volunteer in Buenos Aires, you will not only be helping members of the local community meet their basic needs, but will also have the opportunity to serve as a mentor and role model, encouraging both adults and youths to realize their full potential.

Our Partners
Our partner organizations in Buenos Aires take an active role in helping people who are living below the poverty line. This means reaching out to the population most in need and ensuring that their basic needs are being met on both a physical and emotional level. Throughout this process, the program aims to find ways to educate children, teens, and adults from economically disadvantaged areas, and provide them the tools and encouragement they need to break out of poverty.
